It has been quite some times already since Google has voiced the intention of creating a new wave of internet browser.
Although it did not taking much users attention, however, Scott McCloud has expressed his exciting news in a latest comic interpretation of the key engineering decision. (Read the comic here)
What I would like to share with you today here is to see how this new internet browser will affect the currently already overheated internet browsers world.
Here is why Google started this project:
“Since we spend so much time online, we began seriously thinking about what kind of browser could exist if you started from scratch and built on the best elements out there. We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that’s what we set out to build.
So today we’re releasing the beta version of a new open source browser: Google Chrome.”

When I received the news about the launched of this software, to understand the real power of it myself, therefore headed to the download page. Please note that currently Google Chrome only available to Windows XP & Windows Vista. They are on the way to build the Linux and Mac version.
One thing to take note on the Google Chrome download page, is the fineprint on the End User Agreement and the option to collect users information when Google Chrome crashed.

You will be downloading the setup program, and when the setup program executed, it will starts the downloader to download the installer for Google Chrome. Therefore, you must be connected to the internet when the Google Chrome setup is running.
Once you are done with the Google Chrome installation, you can start your new browser right away.
If you have been using Mozilla Firefox, you will be asking to import the favourites, password, and even browsing history. You can skip this step for now.

So is there any speed different between Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, IE & Other internet browsers?
Sure, here is the result of a speed test between various internet browsers compare with this newly available Google Chrome.

This has clearly specified by Lars Bak, the Google engineer who was the technical leader for Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine, said at the launch event Tuesday that he’s confident Chrome is “many times faster” than the rivals at running JavaScript, the programming language that powers Google Docs, Gmail, and many other Web applications.
On the other hand, with so many new features and faster processing of the webpages and web applications, I still don’t think the internet users will switch to this new browser very soon. The users habit of using a particular internet browsers, the developments of many supports for a particular browser as well as the major acceptance of some of these existing browsers are the challenges for Google Chrome to face when entering into this internet browsers war.
However, in a healthy competition environment, the users will benefit the most!

Whenever you wanna search for somethings, you will be using either Google, Yahoo or MSN to do the searches. You will need to open 3 separate windows/tabs to view the results of the searches.
However, what if you can get the results of the searche terms/keywords that you input from Google, Yahoo & MSN at the same time?
What if you can make ‘extra’ money just by searching your terms/keywords?
I know there are a few online services that can give you the search results from Google, Yahoo & MSN, but mostly you wont’ get pay to do the searches.

With this 1 search, you earn 1 point. When you click on the 1 of result links, you will be directed to that link under scour frame. If you write up a simple comment about 30 words, you will be earning another 1 point. Click on the “Relevant” vote on the right will give you another point.
Therefore, with 1 unique search, you can easily earn 3 points. The more unique searches you make, the more you make!
*Points are earned from the first 100 daily searches with a maximum of 300 total points per day.
The current rewards schedule (6,500 points = $25) will continue for the following territories: US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Spain. For all other regions, there will be a modified rewards structure: 50,000 points= $5.
The Revised Scour Rewards Schedule will be implemented August 29th, 2008. Any user with valid activity in the territories not mentioned above with over 3,000 points on August 29th will be eligible for the $25 rewards payout once they reach 6,500 points. The revised Scour rewards schedule will be applicable thereafter.
